Sebastian Heidinger
Born 1978 in Füssen, Bavaria. After a failed tennis career,
bassist and texter for the punkband „4 8 no 1“. 1998 Civil
cervices in a nursing home in Cologne. Responsible for the
program „focus: nursing home“, a semi-professional inhouse
news production. 1999 realisation of the docu-fiction AHAB
IM ALTERSHEIM (Youth Filmaward Bavaria). 2000 Production-
and Editingassistances in Hamburg; Free-jazz musicdocu-
mentary PELIKANISMUS - THE T. DELIUS 4TET. 2001 Berlin:
lightning technician, night watch, sound recordist, care
worker and author. 2002-2007 Studies at dffb, realisation
of various semi-documentaries LICHTENBERG, DER PRINZ /
LUDWIG ZWO / HARAKIRI (doc-triptych). 2007 DRIFTER
(Dialogue en perspective - award at Berlinale Film Festival
2008) and foundation of „Boekamp & Freunde Filmproduction“
with Nils Boekamp.
