Civilians On The Battlefield
Civilians on the Battlefield tells the story of four
Germans who work as “war extras” in the Bavarian forest for
the US army, parallel to the war in Iraq. For a few weeks,
they get a new identity as Arabian civilians, sheiks or
terrorists and simulate real-life scenarios on German
territory. In a kind of “war game”, the American soldiers
are prepared for the situation in Iraq.
